We were looking for a way in which we could work
together, spending more time with each other and have the
opportunity to travel. After looking at and trying several
opportunities. Peter found Herbalife in October 1998. At the
time, I knew nothing! Except for some products that appeared
“from a friend”! I needed to lose weight, I was a size 18 –
the biggest and most uncomfortable I had ever been, along with
that my skin was bad and my breathing peak flow was under 200.
It should have been around 500. Whilst using the program I
started to lose inches and had more vitality than I had
experienced in the past. I coped with my 15-hour night shift
with re-newed vigour! By Christmas of that year I was a size
12-14 and people were asking!
I
went along to a training day in January 1999 and liked what I
saw: we spoke to our sponsor on our return, got the phone
ringing and shocked ourselves when we made £842 part time in
our first month. In our third month we made £1317 part time.
We then realised we could now build on something for our
future.
Within our first year we became World Team Status,
purchased a new car and had a week in Paris with the company.
Our second year enabled Peter to finish full-time work and
enabled me to work job-share at the Fire Service. Our income
in July 2000 was £5,550.
The opportunity has enabled me to be doing something
which I enjoy and is away from the norm! My qualifications
were minimal on leaving school, so if I lost my job in the
Fire Service I would have to retrain. This has given me the
flexibility to work wherever I choose in whichever country at
my home or on the yacht, Peter and I wish to own one day!
Thank goodness I didn’t stay sceptical for long. The support
from the group is immense; the friendships within the
organisation are so powerful. The income is a bonus and it’s
great to work as a team with my husband – Peter.
We are now at the Global Expansion Team, and in the
past four years we have travelled extensively with Herbalife
to places we would never had imagined travelling to, such as
Paris (twice), Los Angeles (twice), Hawaii, Munich, Barbados,
Bahamas, Cologne, Malaga, French Riviera, Amsterdam,
Greek/Turkish cruise, Cala’dor on a million pound boat…….the
list is endless. This alone is a reason why we wanted to step
away from the normal two week holiday a year
syndrome!
We now have time to spend together and get enjoyment
seeing our group develop and achieve their personal reasons
for doing this Business.
The future….exciting….thank you Herbalife for giving us
the opportunity to work a Business with endless rewards Health
and Wealth…what more could you ask for?
